Virtual Makeover Alice from aol, a single Mom w/ two small children (2 &3), needed a quick and easy makeover that was stylish, to redefine her look although she has little time to indulge in a full makeup routine, she feels that looking good makes you feel good! |
Alices Virtual Makeup looks:
Look 1

1 Light textured liquid foundation, lightly powder forehead, bridge of nose and chin to keep the look matt.
2 Eyes are accented by brushing a rich plum shadow onto the lid, and softly blurring the plum into the contour and elongate eye shape. Highlight this striking eye look w/ a soft liiac shadow on the browbone. For a more dramatic version, use a deep navy to frame your eyes (keep it softer on the lower lid) and outline the brow in charcoal.
3 Add subtle contouring to cheeks by lightly dusting w/ a dusky-pink blush.
4 Create a monochromatic effect using a neutral lip pencil under a vivid fuschia lipstick for maximum colour effect.
Look 2

1 Matt liquid base to suit your skin tone.
2 Cover the whole eyelid in deep rust and continue softly around to the lower rim concentrating a deeper shade upward and outward from the contour to elongate for a feline effect. To add definition, blend a rich shade of brown-black mascara on the upper lashes. Blend a delicate pale bronze softly from the inner corners up to the brow bone. Lightly pencil the eyebrows, to delicately frame the face, in a mid natural brown.
3 Keep cheek colour to a minimum, allowing a hint of your natural cheek colour by smudging a creamy alabaster only as a highlight - this will ensure the focus is on the eyes.
4 The lips in this look are a softer version of eye colour the look is achieved by overlaying a hint of gold shimmer gloss over a nude lip pencil for easy day wear.
